Local detail for each town
Every town has its own housing stock and its own reasons for the call. Here's a bit about each place we serve.
Fredericksburg
Ten minutes from the shop. The historic downtown grid is full of heart pine floors that need careful refinishing, and the rental stock near UMW keeps our LVP and vinyl crews busy between leases.
Fredericksburg detailSpotsylvania
Our home county, usually a 10 to 15 minute drive. The subdivisions off Courthouse Road are mostly builder-grade carpet and vinyl from the 1990s and 2000s, ready for a hardwood or LVP upgrade.
Spotsylvania detailStafford
About 20 to 25 minutes north on I-95. Commuter families around Embrey Mill and the county's other newer communities often call once builder carpet from move-in day is finally due for replacement.
Stafford detailLocust Grove
Roughly 30 to 35 minutes west on Route 3. Lake homes around Lake of the Woods see a lot of custom hardwood and tile work, since many owners are renovating a second or retirement home a room at a time.
Locust Grove detailKing George
About 35 to 40 minutes east toward Dahlgren. The county mixes newer homes tied to the naval base with older farmhouses, and it's the farmhouse renovations that keep our sanding and staining crews on the road out there.
King George detailBowling Green
Around 30 minutes south on Route 2. As the Caroline County seat, the older homes near Main Street still carry a lot of original pine flooring, and refinishing that pine is our most common call there.
